The Ford Mustang Active Performance Exhaust System allows you to regulate the sound coming from the exhaust system. You can have it in all new Mustangs. It is available in four basic settings, including Quiet, Normal, Track, and Sport. The Quiet setting is still loud at 72 decibels, but it doesn’t bother your neighbors when you start your car in the morning. The Track setting is the loudest – it gets as loud as you would expect a racing car to get.
It is easy to set any of the modes. Start by pressing the button on your steering wheel to open MyMode and then select Exhaust Mode, which will be one of the options. From then, pick any of the modes and then turn it on. You can schedule when the mode starts and when it ends. Thanks to the scheduling option, you do not have to worry about forgetting to set the Quiet Mode for your mornings.
