The 2024 Ford Expedition MAX is an extended-wheelbase large SUV with plenty of space for the family. In order to move a vehicle of this size around Elba, Ford gives every Expedition MAX a hearty powertrain.
A twin-turbo V6 is what you find under the hood of every version of this SUV. It generates 380 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque in most models. That said, The Expedition MAX Limited makes 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Select models are available with a Stealth Performance package that will bump things up to 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque.
Rear-wheel drive is standard for the new Expedition MAX, but you can also opt for all-wheel drive. When properly equipped, this extended-base SUV has the ability to tow up to 9,000 pounds. An independent rear suspension comes standard on every Expedition MAX, giving you a smooth ride around town.
